This is one of my favorite poems ever. There are tons of variations to it, but this is the way that I first heard it as a child:
One dark night in the middle of the day
Two dead boys got up to play
They stood back to back to face one another
Drew their swords and shot each other
A deaf policeman hear the noise
And ran to save the two dead boys
If you believe this tale is tall
Just ask the blind man
He saw it all
My family and I used to take turns saying it back and forth in different ways but keeping the story the same. But that way is my favorite of all :) This picture is actually from an artist that I saw on YouTube. Here is the link, you should check it out
